The Texas Sport Bike Association is an AMA-chartered group (#2247) of like-minded enthusiasts dedicated to promoting the enjoyment of safe and responsible sportbike riding. Through its monthly meetings in Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Dallas/Fort Worth, and now the Rio Grande Valley, the TSBA strives to provide an informal social forum for sportbike enthusiasts to meet new riding friends, organize day rides and sport touring events, exchange tips and technology, and share in the enjoyment of sportbike riding.
Members range from mature, experienced riders, to people new to the sport desiring to learn good riding habits and everything between. Frequent weekend morning rides afford ample opportunity for fun and riding skill development for riders of all levels of experience. Everyone is encouraged to ride at their own safe pace. Since a good spot to eat is usually central to these excursions, ride to eat and eat to ride could be our motto.
Our Sunday Morning Rides (SMRs) usually take us all over the Rio Grande Valley's back roads. We meet at the Stripes gas station located on the corner Nolana and Expressway 281 in Pharr, TX. A map to that location can be found here. Any changes on meeting point and destination will be discussed in the bbs.
Although the club rides are open to anyone, the TSBA requires the following safety gear in order to participate in a club ride. Failing to meet the requirements below will result in you being asked to rejoin us at a future time when proper gear is present and being worn.
